A wave of cyber attacks hit Italy over the last weekend, targeting ministries, armed forces and public transport companies. At the centre of the actions were groups such as Noname057(16), which exploited DDoS attacks to paralyse institutional websites and show, once again, the vulnerability of the national digital infrastructure.
